Please park in the T-2 lot just west of Minard Hall. Parking is free on the weekends. Unfortunately, the west-side door to Minard will be locked. Please go around the building to the east/front side and use the main doors. Proceed via stairs or elevator to the fourth floor. Room 424 is just past the restrooms, right from the elevator/left from the stairs.
State senator to present NDSU seminar November 21st
NDSU’s Northern Plains Ethics Institute is set to host State Sen. Tim Mathern at the next Science, Religion and Lunch Seminar, scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 21, at noon in the Memorial Union’s Arikara room.
The discussion, titled “Let’s Talk about Politics and Religion at Thanksgiving Dinner,” will focus on the juncture of politics and religion using Mathern’s personal experience as a legislator and Roman Catholic.

The Massachusetts Historical Society has invited Anne M. Blankenship, Associate Director of the NPEI, to present her paper “Interreligious Responses to the Settlement House Movement, 1880-1924” at their Modern American Society and Culture Seminar on April 25th, 2017.
Anne Blankenship Gives Talks on her Book
Anne M. Blankenship, Associate Director of the NPEI, delivered the talk “Faith and Injustice: Religious Responses to the WWII Japanese American Incarceration” as part of the University of North Dakota’s International Speaker Series on April 12th, 2017. She also spoke at North Dakota State University and Minnesota State, Moorhead about her new book, Christianity, Social Justice, and the WWII Japanese American Incarceration, in November 2016.
